Silver Dollar Dance Hall

There was nickel beer and lots of two-stepping at this dance hall. Originally located at Burnet Road & 183 (next door to the Lumber Yard), the format was so popular in the 1970s and 80s that a second SIlver Dollar opened in Oak Hill. Imagine 25-cent pitchers, $3 cover chare to guys only (and no cover charge with a student I.D.) and seeing George Strait, Chubby Checkers, Tammy Wynette, Willie Nelson, Ernst Tubb and the Texas Trubadores.  It was the place to scoot your boots!

Our classic unisex jersey short sleeve tee is prefect for going out on the town or staying in and chilling in style.
