Alonzo's Tacos (2011) - Montropolis, Texas tee

For more than four decades, Alonzo's Tacos stuffed the faces of Austin's hungry breakfast eaters witht the best (and cheapest) tacos around.

With a menu that included the Johnny Boy Burger Special, Chicken Strip and Chicken Nugget Meal, Lunch Burrito, Enchilada Plate, and Chalupas, Alonzo's was famous for their Tacos served all day, most famously for their breakfast tacos on the go. 

Alonzo's was located in the Montropolis section of Texas, an area established in 1830. Montopolis predates Austin by nine years and for a short time, it competed with Austin’s predecessor, Waterloo, for predominance on the Colorado River.
