The location had many other names over the years, including the Touchdown Lounge, the Pink Lizard Lounge, the Buffalo Gap, Gemini’s, the Hungry Horse, Sunshine’s Party, and the Texas Showdown. But Austin's original punk music venue, Raul’s Club was at the epicenter of Austin's punk rock scene between 1978 and 1982.
