Yankees Stadium Facade  LGBTQ+ Flag design

In 1978, the artist Gilbert Baker, at the urging of Harvey Milk, designed the first rainbow flag. It was first produced commercially with red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet stripes.

Now the rainbow flag is an international symbol for LGBTQ pride.

Combining the colors of that flag with the famous frieze (facade) of Yankee Stadium offers fans to combine their pride of the pinstripes with their pride of an for diversity and the LGBTQ+ community.

A portion of every sale will be donated to the HRC Foundation, which seeks to fundamentally change the way LGBTQ+ people are treated in our everyday lives. The HRC Foundation (thehrcfoundation.org) works to build capacity and change policies, practices, hearts and minds in a range of institutions that shape our daily lives.
