Nashville's famous JONES PET SHOP SIGN

In Nashville, we all smile when we see the distinctive Jones Pet Shop sign. This awesome relic from the building’s previous life has graced the area for decades, back to the ’50s, and although others now call that location -- 1812 21st Ave S., Hillsboro Village -- home, they proudly keep the signage there as a call-back to those magical times in Nashville's past.

Back in the day when it was the pet shop, a customer would come into the store and be greeted by a talking bird that would say "Jones Pet Shop."

This design update was executed by Joe Tartaglia, a noted illustrator, and designer with more than 25 years of experience creating and designing for a variety of media.
