One of Austin's quirky retail shops for 40 years, the Light Bulb Shop, Austin’s local lighting shop from 1980 to 2018, was located at 6318 Burnet Road in North Austin. The shop stocked items ranging from incandescent lights for a church to street lights, and at one point it had more than 80,000 lights in stock.

The Light Bulb Shop sold lights for several Austin city projects, including the University of Texas Tower and Sixth Street. The featured signage design of the man with a light bulb over his head, which dominated the top of the store for all who passed, was modeled after owner Edwin McGary.

This simple unisex jersey short sleeve tee will become among your favorites fast. With a comfortable fit, our tee is made of soft cotton with ribbed knit collars to bolster shaping, and shoulder taping for better fit over time, as well as dual side seams to hold the garment's shape for long wear.
