Flipside was the home of Jack's Best Chicken -- chicken that was crunchy, fork-tender, and tasty.
It came in several forms including "Parm" — topped with marinara and a melt of mozzarella, to the out-of-the-ordinary peanut butter, Thai basil slaw, and sriracha that made the Phuket (a clever riff on the Southeast Asian stay). In any form, it was the best, like everything else Flipside had to offer.
Located in the heart of the historic 12th South neighborhood, the Flipside offered its one-of-a-kind chicken experience with a unique spin on a Sicilian staple. The restaurant had a fun '50s diner feel, serving shakes and floats; Sprecher root beer, and vanilla ice cream served in a retro glass. We miss Flipside whenever we are hungry. but you can Wear Nashville Out with this historic tee.
