American Eagle shot was made by American Cartridge Co., Kansas City, USA for American shotguns*. Later on these were manufactured by by Federal Cartridge Corp. Still later, the boxes changed to American Cartridge Co., Minneapolis, Minnesota, Made in the USA. Finally, the label changed to American Cartridge Co., a Division of Federal Cartridge Corporation, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.

*By 1909, the shotgun as we know it had established its final form. The exterior shape of the pump-action was finalized by the Winchester Model 12, semi-automatics by the Browning Auto-5.
