The cherished listening room Flipnotics closed its doors in 2014. The coffeespace on Barton Springs road served pastries, bagels, empanadas, breakfast tacos along with fair trade organic coffee. You could even order a slice of pizza from East Side Pies, and grab a beer or glass of wine. And then there was the live music every night of the week: bluegrass, blues, gospel, country, jazz, rock, reggae, rockabilly, and folk. Flipnotics gained notoriety for presenting intimate shows by local artists in a room that held just a few dozen people. "Flips" closed in 2014, but you can have a taste of it everyday with this mug.
