Friday nights in the 1950s and 60's in Nashville: rollerskating at the old Hippodrome near Vanderbilt University and across the street from Centennial Park. A 40,000 square foot roller rink with an organ up in a balcony on the east end where a woman played music while everyone skated. There were skating parties and baseball was played on skates. The Hippodrome was razed in 1968, but you can skate around with this design from Yestercool.
